{"id":"CVE-2026-9183","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"24liveblog <= 2.2 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Exposure of Sensitive Information via Block Editor Script Localization","description":"The 24liveblog - live blog tool plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Exposure of Sensitive Information in versions up to, and including, 2.2. This is due to the lb24_block_enqueue_scripts() function being hooked to enqueue_block_editor_assets and, for any non-administrator user, falling back to loading the administrator-configured site-wide 24liveblog integration secrets (lb24_token, lb24_refresh_token, lb24_uid, lb24_uname) from the options table via get_option() and emitting them through wp_localize_script() as the lb24BlockData JavaScript object. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to extract third-party 24liveblog account credentials (including the API token and refresh token) by simply opening the block editor and inspecting the page source.","publishedAt":"2026-06-24T05:33:30.545Z","updatedAt":"2026-06-29T19:06:15.268Z","severity":{"score":4.3,"label":"Medium","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","source":"Wordfence"},"assigner":"Wordfence","products":["24liveblog 24liveblog – live blog tool"],"affected":[{"vendor":"24liveblog","product":"24liveblog – live blog tool","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","lessThanOrEqual":"2.2","versionType":"semver"}]}],"references":["https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/ceaccdb3-4d98-4463-9db9-a6f1712d6869?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/24liveblog/trunk/src/init.php#L157","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/24liveblog/trunk/src/init.php#L139"],"weaknesses":["CWE-200"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:13:52.441Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/9xxx/CVE-2026-9183.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-9183","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-06-24T05:33:30.545Z","dateUpdated":"2026-06-29T19:06:15.268Z","assignerShortName":"Wordfence","assignerOrgId":"b15e7b5b-3da4-40ae-a43c-f7aa60e62599","dateReserved":"2026-05-21T14:54:43.626Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"24liveblog <= 2.2 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Exposure of Sensitive Information via Block Editor Script Localization","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The 24liveblog - live blog tool plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Exposure of Sensitive Information in versions up to, and including, 2.2.
