{"id":"CVE-2026-82566","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"Botslab G980H Dashcams Insufficient session expiration","description":"The Botslab G980H dash camera firmware contains a session management vulnerability in which authentication state can remain valid after the associated client connection has been terminated or replaced. Under certain connection conditions, a newly established connection can displace an existing client while previously established session state remains active until a separate expiration mechanism invalidates it. An unauthenticated attacker with adjacent network access could potentially take advantage of this residual authentication state to access functionality associated with another client's session.","publishedAt":"2026-09-24T19:32:19.662Z","updatedAt":"2026-09-24T19:37:00.841Z","severity":{"score":8.7,"label":"High","version":"4.0","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","source":"icscert"},"assigner":"icscert","products":["Botslab G980H"],"affected":[{"vendor":"Botslab","product":"G980H","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"30010_QHG980HN5294SysFW+","status":"affected"},{"version":"58_QHG980HMCN5291SysFW+","status":"affected"}]}],"references":["https://www.botslab.com/pages/about-botslab","https://www.cisa.gov/news-events/ics-advisories/icsa-26-267-01","https://github.com/cisagov/CSAF/blob/develop/csaf_files/OT/white/2026/icsa-26-267-01.json"],"weaknesses":["CWE-613"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:13:15.269Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/82xxx/CVE-2026-82566.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-82566","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-09-24T19:32:19.662Z","dateUpdated":"2026-09-24T19:37:00.841Z","assignerShortName":"icscert","assignerOrgId":"7d14cffa-0d7d-4270-9dc0-52cabd5a23a6","dateReserved":"2026-09-10T15:31:03.065Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"Botslab G980H Dashcams Insufficient session expiration","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The Botslab G980H dash camera firmware contains a session management vulnerability in which authentication state can remain valid after the associated client connection has been terminated or replaced.
