{"id":"CVE-2026-49325","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"Indian Scout Bobber 2025 WCM voltage-based shutdown","description":"Improper handling of physical conditions in the bike-shutdown control of the Indian Motorcycle Scout Bobber + Tech 2025 model year allows a physical attacker with access to the Wireless Control Module (WCM) wiring harness to bypass the anti-theft shutdown. The WCM signals shutdown to a peer ECU via a falling-edge voltage transition on a dedicated wire pair. The receiving ECU does not distinguish between an active shutdown pulse and an open-circuit / disconnected condition; interrupting the relevant wires leaves the motorcycle fully operable even though the WCM never validated the rider's PIN. Specific connector details have been withheld pending vendor remediation.","publishedAt":"2026-05-29T12:37:41.867Z","updatedAt":"2026-06-27T08:47:24.244Z","severity":{"score":4.1,"label":"Medium","version":"4.0","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:P/AC:L/AT:P/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","source":"ASRG"},"assigner":"ASRG","products":["Indian Motorcycle Scout Bobber + Tech"],"affected":[{"vendor":"Indian Motorcycle","product":"Scout Bobber + Tech","defaultStatus":"unknown","versions":[{"version":"2025","status":"affected","versionType":"model-year"}],"platforms":["OEM Motorcycle"],"modules":["Wireless Control Module (WCM)","Vehicle Control Module (VCM)"]}],"references":["https://cwe.mitre.org/data/definitions/1384.html"],"weaknesses":["CWE-1384","CWE-754","CWE-693"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:12:07.131Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/49xxx/CVE-2026-49325.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-49325","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-05-29T12:37:41.867Z","dateUpdated":"2026-06-27T08:47:24.244Z","assignerShortName":"ASRG","assignerOrgId":"c15abc07-96a9-4d11-a503-5d621bfe42ba","dateReserved":"2026-05-29T07:26:43.199Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"Indian Scout Bobber 2025 WCM voltage-based shutdown","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"Improper handling of physical conditions in the bike-shutdown control of the Indian Motorcycle Scout Bobber + Tech 2025 model year allows a physical attacker with access to the Wireless Control Module (WCM) wiring harness to bypass the anti-theft shutdown.
