{"id":"CVE-2026-44226","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"pyLoad: Unauthenticated traceback disclosure via global exception handler in WebUI","description":"pyLoad is a free and open-source download manager written in Python. Prior to 0.5.0b3.dev100, pyload-ng WebUI returns full Python traceback details to clients on unhandled exceptions. Because /web/<path:filename> is reachable without authentication and renders attacker-controlled template names, an unauthenticated user can reliably trigger a server exception (for example by requesting a non-existent template) and receive internal stack traces in the HTTP response. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.5.0b3.dev100.","publishedAt":"2026-05-11T16:36:35.156Z","updatedAt":"2026-05-11T18:27:05.705Z","severity":{"score":5.3,"label":"Medium","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","source":"GitHub_M"},"assigner":"GitHub_M","products":["pyload pyload"],"affected":[{"vendor":"pyload","product":"pyload","versions":[{"version":"< 0.5.0b3.dev100","status":"affected"}]}],"references":["https://github.com/pyload/pyload/security/advisories/GHSA-c3gc-9pf2-84gg"],"weaknesses":["CWE-209"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:11:57.932Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/44xxx/CVE-2026-44226.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-44226","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-05-11T16:36:35.156Z","dateUpdated":"2026-05-11T18:27:05.705Z","assignerShortName":"GitHub_M","assignerOrgId":"a0819718-46f1-4df5-94e2-005712e83aaa","dateReserved":"2026-05-05T15:42:40.518Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"pyLoad: Unauthenticated traceback disclosure via global exception handler in WebUI","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"pyLoad is a free and open-source download manager written in Python.
