{"id":"CVE-2026-4341","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"Prime Slider <= 4.1.10 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'follow_us_text' Parameter","description":"The Prime Slider – Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'follow_us_text' setting of the Mount widget in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.10. This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Specifically, the `render_social_link()` function in `modules/mount/widgets/mount.php` outputs the `follow_us_text` Elementor widget setting using `echo` without any escaping function. The setting value is stored in `_elementor_data` post meta via `update_post_meta`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.","publishedAt":"2026-04-08T03:36:08.934Z","updatedAt":"2026-04-08T16:50:40.549Z","severity":{"score":6.4,"label":"Medium","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N","source":"Wordfence"},"assigner":"Wordfence","products":["bdthemes Prime Slider – Addons for Elementor"],"affected":[{"vendor":"bdthemes","product":"Prime Slider – Addons for Elementor","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","lessThanOrEqual":"4.1.10","versionType":"semver"}]}],"references":["https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/4a2ef416-4354-4e09-b9be-e36c1f655110?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/bdthemes-prime-slider-lite/trunk/modules/mount/widgets/mount.php#L1027","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/bdthemes-prime-slider-lite/tags/4.1.9/modules/mount/widgets/mount.php#L1027","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/bdthemes-prime-slider-lite/trunk/modules/mount/widgets/mount.php#L230","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/bdthemes-prime-slider-lite/tags/4.1.9/modules/mount/widgets/mount.php#L230","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?sfp_email=&sfph_mail=&reponame=&old=3493676%40bdthemes-prime-slider-lite&new=3493676%40bdthemes-prime-slider-lite&sfp_email=&sfph_mail="],"weaknesses":["CWE-79"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:12:16.098Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/4xxx/CVE-2026-4341.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-4341","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-04-08T03:36:08.934Z","dateUpdated":"2026-04-08T16:50:40.549Z","assignerShortName":"Wordfence","assignerOrgId":"b15e7b5b-3da4-40ae-a43c-f7aa60e62599","dateReserved":"2026-03-17T15:32:13.723Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"Prime Slider <= 4.1.10 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Stored Cross-Site Scripting via 'follow_us_text' Parameter","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The Prime Slider – Addons for Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'follow_us_text' setting of the Mount widget in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.10.
