{"id":"CVE-2026-34046","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"Langflow: Authenticated Users Can Read, Modify, and Delete Any Flow via Missing Ownership Check","description":"Langflow is a tool for building and deploying AI-powered agents and workflows. Prior to version 1.5.1, the `_read_flow` helper in `src/backend/base/langflow/api/v1/flows.py` branched on the `AUTO_LOGIN` setting to decide whether to filter by `user_id`. When `AUTO_LOGIN` was `False` (i.e., authentication was enabled), neither branch enforced an ownership check — the query returned any flow matching the given UUID regardless of who owned it. This allowed any authenticated user to read any other user's flow, including embedded plaintext API keys; modify the logic of another user's AI agents, and/or delete flows belonging to other users. The vulnerability was introduced by the conditional logic that was meant to accommodate public/example flows (those with `user_id = NULL`) under auto-login mode, but inadvertently left the authenticated path without an ownership filter. The fix in version 1.5.1 removes the `AUTO_LOGIN` conditional entirely and unconditionally scopes the query to the requesting user.","publishedAt":"2026-03-27T20:06:35.836Z","updatedAt":"2026-04-01T03:55:31.834Z","severity":{"score":8.7,"label":"High","version":"4.0","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","source":"GitHub_M"},"assigner":"GitHub_M","products":["langflow-ai langflow","langflow-ai langflow-base"],"affected":[{"vendor":"langflow-ai","product":"langflow","versions":[{"version":"< 1.5.1","status":"affected"}]},{"vendor":"langflow-ai","product":"langflow-base","versions":[{"version":"< 0.5.1","status":"affected"}]}],"references":["https://github.com/langflow-ai/langflow/security/advisories/GHSA-8c4j-f57c-35cf","https://github.com/langflow-ai/langflow/pull/8956"],"weaknesses":["CWE-639","CWE-862"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:11:40.391Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/34xxx/CVE-2026-34046.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-34046","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-03-27T20:06:35.836Z","dateUpdated":"2026-04-01T03:55:31.834Z","assignerShortName":"GitHub_M","assignerOrgId":"a0819718-46f1-4df5-94e2-005712e83aaa","dateReserved":"2026-03-25T15:29:04.745Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"Langflow: Authenticated Users Can Read, Modify, and Delete Any Flow via Missing Ownership Check","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"Langflow is a tool for building and deploying AI-powered agents and workflows.
