{"id":"CVE-2026-33752","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"Redirect-based SSRF leading to internal network access in curl_cffi (with TLS impersonation bypass)","description":"curl_cffi is the a Python binding for curl. Prior to 0.15.0, curl_cffi does not restrict requests to internal IP ranges, and follows redirects automatically via the underlying libcurl. Because of this, an attacker-controlled URL can redirect requests to internal services such as cloud metadata endpoints. In addition, curl_cffi’s TLS impersonation feature can make these requests appear as legitimate browser traffic, which may bypass certain network controls. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.15.0.","publishedAt":"2026-04-06T15:01:44.844Z","updatedAt":"2026-04-06T15:40:54.380Z","severity":{"score":8.6,"label":"High","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:N/A:N","source":"GitHub_M"},"assigner":"GitHub_M","products":["lexiforest curl_cffi"],"affected":[{"vendor":"lexiforest","product":"curl_cffi","versions":[{"version":"< 0.15.0","status":"affected"}]}],"references":["https://github.com/lexiforest/curl_cffi/security/advisories/GHSA-qw2m-4pqf-rmpp"],"weaknesses":["CWE-918"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:11:40.391Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/33xxx/CVE-2026-33752.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-33752","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-04-06T15:01:44.844Z","dateUpdated":"2026-04-06T15:40:54.380Z","assignerShortName":"GitHub_M","assignerOrgId":"a0819718-46f1-4df5-94e2-005712e83aaa","dateReserved":"2026-03-23T18:30:14.125Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"Redirect-based SSRF leading to internal network access in curl_cffi (with TLS impersonation bypass)","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"curl_cffi is the a Python binding for curl.
