{"id":"CVE-2026-33733","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"EspoCRM has Admin TemplateManager path traversal that allows arbitrary file read write and delete","description":"EspoCRM is an open source customer relationship management application. Prior to version 9.3.4, the admin template management endpoints accept attacker-controlled `name` and `scope` values and pass them into template path construction without normalization or traversal filtering. As a result, an authenticated admin can use `../` sequences to escape the intended template directory and read, create, overwrite, or delete arbitrary files that resolve to `body.tpl` or `subject.tpl` under the web application user's filesystem permissions. Version 9.3.4 fixes the issue.","publishedAt":"2026-04-22T20:05:23.809Z","updatedAt":"2026-04-23T16:25:04.022Z","severity":{"score":7.2,"label":"High","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H","source":"GitHub_M"},"assigner":"GitHub_M","products":["espocrm espocrm"],"affected":[{"vendor":"espocrm","product":"espocrm","versions":[{"version":"< 9.3.4","status":"affected"}]}],"references":["https://github.com/espocrm/espocrm/security/advisories/GHSA-44c3-xjfp-3jrh"],"weaknesses":["CWE-23"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:11:40.391Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/33xxx/CVE-2026-33733.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-33733","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-04-22T20:05:23.809Z","dateUpdated":"2026-04-23T16:25:04.022Z","assignerShortName":"GitHub_M","assignerOrgId":"a0819718-46f1-4df5-94e2-005712e83aaa","dateReserved":"2026-03-23T17:34:57.560Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"EspoCRM has Admin TemplateManager path traversal that allows arbitrary file read write and delete","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"EspoCRM is an open source customer relationship management application.
