{"id":"CVE-2026-32815","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"SiYuan: Cross-Origin WebSocket Hijacking via Authentication Bypass — Unauthenticated Information Disclosure","description":"SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system. In versions 3.6.0 and below, the WebSocket endpoint (/ws) allows unauthenticated connections when specific URL parameters are provided (?app=siyuan&id=auth&type=auth). This bypass, intended for the login page to keep the kernel alive, allows any external client — including malicious websites via cross-origin WebSocket — to connect and receive all server push events in real-time. These events leak sensitive document metadata including document titles, notebook names, file paths, and all CRUD operations performed by authenticated users. Combined with the absence of Origin header validation, a malicious website can silently connect to a victim's local SiYuan instance and monitor their note-taking activity. This issue has been fixed in version 3.6.1.","publishedAt":"2026-03-19T21:39:31.365Z","updatedAt":"2026-03-20T20:22:46.364Z","severity":{"score":5.3,"label":"Medium","version":"4.0","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:P/VC:L/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","source":"GitHub_M"},"assigner":"GitHub_M","products":["siyuan-note siyuan"],"affected":[{"vendor":"siyuan-note","product":"siyuan","versions":[{"version":"< 3.6.1","status":"affected"}]}],"references":["https://github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/security/advisories/GHSA-xp2m-98x8-rpj6","https://github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/commit/1e370e37359778c0932673e825182ff555b504a3","https://github.com/siyuan-note/siyuan/releases/tag/v3.6.1"],"weaknesses":["CWE-287"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:11:40.391Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/32xxx/CVE-2026-32815.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-32815","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-03-19T21:39:31.365Z","dateUpdated":"2026-03-20T20:22:46.364Z","assignerShortName":"GitHub_M","assignerOrgId":"a0819718-46f1-4df5-94e2-005712e83aaa","dateReserved":"2026-03-16T17:35:36.696Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"SiYuan: Cross-Origin WebSocket Hijacking via Authentication Bypass — Unauthenticated Information Disclosure","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"SiYuan is a personal knowledge management system.
