This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information. The base64-encoded file contents are embedded into the cached invoice HTML and served directly to the attacker via the plugin's own Print/Download invoice endpoints, which require only a valid nonce and access key.","publishedAt":"2026-08-22T23:27:19.268Z","updatedAt":"2026-08-24T13:01:19.729Z","severity":{"score":6.5,"label":"Medium","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","source":"Wordfence"},"assigner":"Wordfence","products":["webtoffee WebToffee WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes & Shipping Labels"],"affected":[{"vendor":"webtoffee","product":"WebToffee WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes & Shipping Labels","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","lessThanOrEqual":"4.9.8","versionType":"semver"}]}],"references":["https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/a46f270f-d9cb-4bc1-8e10-3fc6646e1d78?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/print-invoices-packing-slip-labels-for-woocommerce/tags/4.9.8/admin/modules/customizer/customizer.php#L1561","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/print-invoices-packing-slip-labels-for-woocommerce/tags/4.9.8/admin/modules/customizer/customizer.php#L1607","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/print-invoices-packing-slip-labels-for-woocommerce/tags/4.9.8/admin/modules/customizer/classes/class-customizer.php#L1453","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/print-invoices-packing-slip-labels-for-woocommerce/tags/4.9.8/public/modules/invoice/invoice.php#L1934","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3646629/print-invoices-packing-slip-labels-for-woocommerce"],"weaknesses":["CWE-22"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:11:10.572Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/18xxx/CVE-2026-18027.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-18027","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-08-22T23:27:19.268Z","dateUpdated":"2026-08-24T13:01:19.729Z","assignerShortName":"Wordfence","assignerOrgId":"b15e7b5b-3da4-40ae-a43c-f7aa60e62599","dateReserved":"2026-07-28T05:50:17.888Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"WebToffee WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes & Shipping Labels <= 4.9.8 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) Arbitrary File Read via 'customer_note' Parameter","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The WebToffee WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes & Shipping Labels plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Directory Traversal in all versions up to, and including, 4.9.8 via the get_image_src_in_base64 function.
