{"id":"CVE-2026-15267","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"Taskbuilder <= 5.0.9 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) SQL Injection","description":"The Taskbuilder – Project Management & Task Management Tool With Kanban Board plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'wppm_proj_filter' parameter in versions up to, and including, 5.0.9. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied parameter and the lack of sufficient preparation on the existing SQL query — the value is re-read at line 144 using only sanitize_text_field() (overwriting the earlier absint() result), then concatenated into the SQL WHERE clause as an unquoted numeric operand using only esc_sql(), which does not protect against injection in that context, and finally string-interpolated into the $wpdb->prepare() format string, bypassing parameterization entirely. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database.","publishedAt":"2026-07-28T08:34:36.049Z","updatedAt":"2026-07-28T12:44:57.772Z","severity":{"score":6.5,"label":"Medium","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","source":"Wordfence"},"assigner":"Wordfence","products":["taskbuilder Taskbuilder – Project Management & Task Management Tool With Kanban Board"],"affected":[{"vendor":"taskbuilder","product":"Taskbuilder – Project Management & Task Management Tool With Kanban Board","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","lessThanOrEqual":"5.0.9","versionType":"semver"}]}],"references":["https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/746eec41-e8d2-4c51-b63e-726eeadbb2ab?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/taskbuilder/tags/5.0.9/includes/admin/projects/open_project/wppm_view_project_tasks.php#L181","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/taskbuilder/tags/5.0.9/includes/admin/projects/open_project/wppm_view_project_tasks.php#L144","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/taskbuilder/tags/5.0.9/includes/class-wppm-admin.php#L545","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3576941/taskbuilder/trunk/includes/admin/projects/open_project/wppm_view_project_tasks.php"],"weaknesses":["CWE-89"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:11:00.674Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/15xxx/CVE-2026-15267.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-15267","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-07-28T08:34:36.049Z","dateUpdated":"2026-07-28T12:44:57.772Z","assignerShortName":"Wordfence","assignerOrgId":"b15e7b5b-3da4-40ae-a43c-f7aa60e62599","dateReserved":"2026-07-09T14:17:51.747Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"Taskbuilder <= 5.0.9 - Authenticated (Subscriber+) SQL Injection","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The Taskbuilder – Project Management & Task Management Tool With Kanban Board plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the 'wppm_proj_filter' parameter in versions up to, and including, 5.0.9.
