{"id":"CVE-2026-13039","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"Eventin 4.0.26 - 4.1.15 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Payment Bypass via REST API","description":"The Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass due to a regression in versions from 4.0.26 up to and including 4.1.15. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action in the payment_complete() function of PaymentController.php. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to mark unpaid ticket orders as completed by submitting a fabricated SureCart checkout ID or FluentCart cart hash, granting themselves paid event access, QR-code attendee tickets, and order confirmation emails without making any real payment. The wp_rest nonce required to reach the vulnerable endpoint is embedded in every public event page, meaning no WordPress session or credentials are needed to obtain it. This vulnerability represents a regression — the same function and endpoint were previously patched but the fix did not persist through subsequent releases.","publishedAt":"2026-07-10T20:31:37.672Z","updatedAt":"2026-07-13T14:40:09.826Z","severity":{"score":5.3,"label":"Medium","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N","source":"Wordfence"},"assigner":"Wordfence","products":["arraytics Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered)"],"affected":[{"vendor":"arraytics","product":"Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered)","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"4.0.26","status":"affected","lessThanOrEqual":"4.1.15","versionType":"semver"}]}],"references":["https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/84a5348a-a307-4db4-83b6-08682282a4b8?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset?reponame=&old=3600977%40wp-event-solution&new=3600977%40wp-event-solution"],"weaknesses":["CWE-862"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:11:00.674Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/13xxx/CVE-2026-13039.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-13039","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-07-10T20:31:37.672Z","dateUpdated":"2026-07-13T14:40:09.826Z","assignerShortName":"Wordfence","assignerOrgId":"b15e7b5b-3da4-40ae-a43c-f7aa60e62599","dateReserved":"2026-06-23T17:16:57.845Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"Eventin 4.0.26 - 4.1.15 - Missing Authorization to Unauthenticated Payment Bypass via REST API","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The Eventin – Event Calendar, Event Registration, Tickets & Booking (AI Powered) plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to authorization bypass due to a regression in versions from 4.0.26 up to and including 4.1.15.
