{"id":"CVE-2026-12258","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"Inadequate access control in the Hiperdino REST API","description":"Inadequate access control in Hiperdino’s REST v1.0 API. The public endpoint ‘customer/check’ could allow an authenticated attacker to enter a telephone number or an email address. When the value entered belongs to a registered customer, the service returns the associated information (email address and telephone number). No authentication is required beyond a static bearer token, and there is no rate limiting or generic error handling. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to enumerate a user’s contact details, although this would require obtaining a valid static bearer token, constituting an information disclosure vulnerability.","publishedAt":"2026-09-14T12:11:13.182Z","updatedAt":"2026-09-28T14:21:19.164Z","severity":{"score":9.2,"label":"Critical","version":"4.0","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:N/SC:H/SI:N/SA:N","source":"INCIBE"},"assigner":"INCIBE","products":["Hiperdino REST API"],"affected":[{"vendor":"Hiperdino","product":"REST API","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"1.0","status":"affected","versionType":"custom"}]}],"references":["https://www.incibe.es/en/incibe-cert/notices/aviso/inadequate-access-control-hiperdino-rest-api"],"weaknesses":["CWE-284"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:10:52.580Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/12xxx/CVE-2026-12258.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-12258","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-09-14T12:11:13.182Z","dateUpdated":"2026-09-28T14:21:19.164Z","assignerShortName":"INCIBE","assignerOrgId":"0cbda920-cd7f-484a-8e76-bf7f4b7f4516","dateReserved":"2026-06-15T09:37:00.376Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"Inadequate access control in the Hiperdino REST API","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"Inadequate access control in Hiperdino’s REST v1.0 API.
