{"id":"CVE-2026-111735","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"Integer underflow leads to out-of-bounds read in pf_cpm_c_data_ind()","description":"P-Net before 1.0.3 contains an integer underflow in pf_cpm_c_data_ind(). When handling a received cyclic data frame while the consumer is in the FRUN or RUN state, the offset of the APDU status was computed as the frame length minus 4 using 16-bit arithmetic, without checking that the frame is long enough. A crafted short frame makes the offset wrap around, so the function reads outside the receive buffer. This can cause a crash (denial of service) or disclose memory content.","publishedAt":"2026-10-29T15:42:29.115Z","updatedAt":"2026-10-29T15:42:29.115Z","severity":{"score":7.1,"label":"High","version":"4.0","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:A/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N","source":"rt-labs"},"assigner":"rt-labs","products":["RT-Labs P-Net"],"affected":[{"vendor":"RT-Labs","product":"P-Net","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","lessThan":"1.0.3","versionType":"semver"}]}],"references":["https://rt-labs.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/RRTL-261019-01.pdf"],"weaknesses":["CWE-191","CWE-125"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:10:33.477Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/111xxx/CVE-2026-111735.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-111735","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-10-29T15:42:29.115Z","dateUpdated":"2026-10-29T15:42:29.115Z","assignerShortName":"rt-labs","assignerOrgId":"4b71179a-3b92-4a9d-b9fc-af8b8ed579ee","dateReserved":"2026-10-16T15:50:17.803Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"Integer underflow leads to out-of-bounds read in pf_cpm_c_data_ind()","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"P-Net before 1.0.3 contains an integer underflow in pf_cpm_c_data_ind().
