This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract the full name and email address of returning commenters pre-filled into comment form input fields and persisted as the site-wide cached page by any unauthenticated attacker requesting the same public URL. The read-side handler in advanced-cache.php correctly skips cached delivery for requests carrying comment_author_* cookies, but this check is absent on the write path, meaning the cache poisoning is invisible to the victim commenter yet fully exploitable by any unauthenticated attacker with no cookies.","publishedAt":"2026-10-10T06:40:15.885Z","updatedAt":"2026-10-11T16:55:16.112Z","severity":{"score":3.7,"label":"Low","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N","source":"Wordfence"},"assigner":"Wordfence","products":["softaculous SpeedyCache – Cache, Optimization, Performance"],"affected":[{"vendor":"softaculous","product":"SpeedyCache – Cache, Optimization, Performance","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","lessThanOrEqual":"1.4.2","versionType":"semver"}]}],"references":["https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/c6b8d5ca-34e2-4d25-9185-7fcee790379d?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/speedycache/tags/1.4.2/main/cache.php#L151","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/speedycache/tags/1.4.2/main/cache.php#L91","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/speedycache/tags/1.4.2/main/cache.php#L214","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/speedycache/tags/1.4.2/main/advanced-cache.php#L108","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3734609/speedycache","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/3734608/speedycache/trunk/main/cache.php"],"weaknesses":["CWE-524"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:10:23.711Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2026/104xxx/CVE-2026-104006.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2026-104006","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2026-10-10T06:40:15.885Z","dateUpdated":"2026-10-11T16:55:16.112Z","assignerShortName":"Wordfence","assignerOrgId":"b15e7b5b-3da4-40ae-a43c-f7aa60e62599","dateReserved":"2026-10-01T16:26:50.185Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"SpeedyCache <= 1.4.2 - Unauthenticated Sensitive Information Exposure via Insecure Cache Configuration via Cache Write Gate Missing comment_author_* Cookie Check","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The SpeedyCache – Cache, Optimization, Performance plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.2 via the 'comment_author_*, comment_author_email_*' parameter.
