{"id":"CVE-2025-13380","state":"PUBLISHED","title":"AI Engine for WordPress: ChatGPT, GPT Content Generator <= 1.0.1 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Arbitrary File Read","description":"The AI Engine for WordPress: ChatGPT, GPT Content Generator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.1. This is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied file paths in the 'lqdai_update_post' AJAX endpoint and the use of file_get_contents() with user-controlled URLs without protocol restrictions in the insert_image() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information.","publishedAt":"2025-11-25T07:28:24.659Z","updatedAt":"2026-04-08T17:15:18.083Z","severity":{"score":6.5,"label":"Medium","version":"3.1","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:N/A:N","source":"Wordfence"},"assigner":"Wordfence","products":["liquidthemes AI Engine for WordPress: ChatGPT, GPT Content Generator"],"affected":[{"vendor":"liquidthemes","product":"AI Engine for WordPress: ChatGPT, GPT Content Generator","defaultStatus":"unaffected","versions":[{"version":"0","status":"affected","lessThanOrEqual":"1.0.1","versionType":"semver"}]}],"references":["https://www.wordfence.com/threat-intel/vulnerabilities/id/ae0abace-9bf6-4ef9-a9b8-7efffbf25628?source=cve","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/liquid-chatgpt/tags/1.0.1/liquid-chatgpt.php#L83","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/liquid-chatgpt/tags/1.0.1/liquid-chatgpt.php#L315","https://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/liquid-chatgpt/tags/1.0.1/liquid-chatgpt.php#L423","https://github.com/d0n601/CVE-2025-13380","https://ryankozak.com/posts/cve-2025-13380/"],"weaknesses":["CWE-73"],"ingestedAt":"2026-10-29T20:08:31.050Z","source":{"repository":"CVEProject/cvelistV5","path":"cves/2025/13xxx/CVE-2025-13380.json","commit":"556c9d3a8cd17e218bb8e452ba7cd619a384ff47"},"raw":{"dataType":"CVE_RECORD","dataVersion":"5.2","cveMetadata":{"cveId":"CVE-2025-13380","state":"PUBLISHED","datePublished":"2025-11-25T07:28:24.659Z","dateUpdated":"2026-04-08T17:15:18.083Z","assignerShortName":"Wordfence","assignerOrgId":"b15e7b5b-3da4-40ae-a43c-f7aa60e62599","dateReserved":"2025-11-18T20:18:44.639Z"},"containers":{"cna":{"title":"AI Engine for WordPress: ChatGPT, GPT Content Generator <= 1.0.1 - Authenticated (Contributor+) Arbitrary File Read","descriptions":[{"lang":"en","value":"The AI Engine for WordPress: ChatGPT, GPT Content Generator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.1.
